Another night another win. Yankees beat the White Sox 3 to 1 in only 2 hours and 11 minutes, the shortest game I can remember the Yankee-WhiteSox-TicketYankees have played in a very long time. Is Colon back to his 2005 Cy Young  form, too early to tell, but his fast ball got faster in to the later innings up to 96 mph.

Mariano Rivera came in the top of the 9th for the his 8 save of the season, his career save 567 and with only 35 more for the record. Jeter get 1 hit for 2,948 with only 52 more for 3,000. Girardi 300th win as the Yankee manage. The Yankees just keep rolling on, it still just April and with 5 more months to go, it’s a long season. One other note Boston is in last place in the east, 4 games out.
