Pink Floyd at Yankee Stadium

Pink Floyd at Yankee Stadium
by Donald M
I caught Pink Floyd’s Division Bell Tour on the second night at Yankee Stadium; this tour was the largest grossing tour at the time, but was shortly pass by the Stones.
Pink Floyd built a stage that resembled the Hollywood Bowl that was a lit during the show creating mood for the night. At the end of the show for the encore they had a large mirrored ball come out of a box on the field and lit it with lights around the stadium, the largest disco ball I have ever seen.
The song list for the this night: Astronomy Domine, Learning to Fly, What Do You Want from Me, Away, Take, Coming, Sorrow, Talking, Days, Shine, Breathe ,Time, Breathe (Reprise), High Hopes, Sky, Wish ,Us and Them, Money, Another Brick in the Wall Part 2, Comfortably Numb, Hey You, Run Like Hell.
If you ever spend a night in your dorm room, back in the those college days, enjoying a smoke and laying back listening to the Dark Side of Moon, you know what it was like being at that this concert.
I was at this show – upper level stage left; I remember very little;) But I do recall driving down from Boston (yes, I was in college) to check it out… totally worth it!
